Our Third Thursday Workshops are designed to bridge the gap between casual day hiking and self-sufficient wilderness travel. In this in-person session, we strip away the technical jargon and focus on practical, actionable skills. We will walk through how to maintain situational awareness, what actually matters in a wilderness first aid scenario, and how to effectively plan your route before you ever leave the pavement.
No prior experience is required. Whether you are planning your first solo hike or preparing to lead your family on a weekend trip, this workshop will give you the foundational tools to travel confidently.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing exact directions to the BodyFix facility in Thousand Oaks, parking details, and a brief outline of the topics we will be covering.
